We have a fully equipped marine workshop and offer a pick up, drop off service anywhere on Sydney Harbour.

Our Marine Maintenance Services Include:

Planned Maintenance

We have a professional team on call to deliver your vessel in optimal condition with our scheduled planned maintenance system which is tailored to your vessel. Our planned maintenance schedule has been designed from years of attending vessel breakdowns through our experiences. Talk to us about setting up a planned maintenance schedule.

Antifouling

Unfortunately, antifouling is a necessary evil. It should be carried out by experts utilising the latest advances in antifouling technology and marine paints to adhere to environmental standards. Effective collection procedures and disposal points need to be in use to prevent unwanted escape of toxic material into our watercourses.

Fenders & Ropes

We can order, install and service a range of Pro Fender Pontoon Fenders and Jetty Fenders. Pro Fender are Aussie made and supplier to Australia’s major pontoon manufacturers and have products to suit all pontoons. We can also supply and install dock bumpers, boat fenders, boat ropes and bouy’s for all types of vessels.

Maintenance Reports

The Marine Group offers service and repairs, fault and failure diagnosis and emergency breakdown services for both commercial and pleasure craft customers throughout Sydney and the Gold Coast. We also offer regular planned maintenance inspections with detailed reporting.

Planned Maintenance Service

The Marine Group uses the excellent ‘Marinecloud Solutions’ software to manage every vessel that they do work on. This gives every owner access to their boats entire service history as well as detailed reporting on every component on their vessel.

The benefit of this is that owners are able to calculate costs and plan ahead for critical maintenance as well as provide a valuable service history should they decide to sell their boat in the future. Every detailed report is emailed to the owner with the status of their on-board equipment including images, notes, suggestions and what work has been undertaken on the vessel.

Water Makers

We offer a yearly service on all models of water makers as well as supply consumables such as membranes and filters, rebuild pumps and maintain your equipment so you always have a supply of fresh water on-board your boat.

Shorepower Testing

Contact the Marine-Group for Shorepower Lead Testing and Tagging. We are fully licenced and have extensive knowledge of Sydney’s marinas and their Shore Power setups. Boat owners must engage the services of a licensed electrical contractor.

Fire Equipment

We have the accreditations and in-house expertise to comprehensively survey, test, inspect and service marine fire and safety equipment. We are also fully licenced to carry out any repairs that may be required and will contact you immediately if there are any concerns.

Bilge Pumps

It is important to maintain your boat’s bilge pump on a regular basis. Don’t let it be a case of out-of-sight, out-of-mind. A regular check of your bilge pump to check that it is in good working order reduces the risk of problems when you need it most.

Charter Vessel Electrical Survey

A yearly check for charter vessels is required for AMSA requirements. Our certified marine electricians will also examine and inspect for applicable standards compliance. Design and quality of installation will be addressed along with recommendations for modification and improvement.

Holding Tank Probiotic Treatment

Marine-Group recommends that you service your waste system every 6 months using ProPower Marine probiotic cleaners which are highly effective at maintaining the integrity of waste facilities onboard boats. Contact us for more information or to book-in a waste management test for your boat.

Battery Inspection and Load Test

It could be disasterous to neglect your batteries, talk to us or book in a regular battery test to make sure your battery system is in good health and will get you back to shore. This test will ensure your batteries pass their load test and ensure any failures are picked up immediately.

 Bonding and Electrolysis Check

Bonding and Electrolysis is the process of corrosion causing current that travels between vessels at a marina using a common shore power connection. Electrolysis Blockers must be installed by a licenced Electrician. We will test your system for performance and/or fault conditions.

Air Conditioning and Refrigeration

The Marine-Group carry out regular service and repairs to existing systems, from single units to complete marine airconditioning systems, controls, water pumps, electrical faults, reverse cycle heating and all types of refrigeration equipment.

Anchor Winch Yearly Service

We perform maintenance, servicing and replacements of all types of anchor winches, including drum and electric drum systems. Our team has the expertise, experience and equipment to make sure you can rely on your anchor retrieval system to do its job.

Annual Toilet System Check

Recent developments in microbiology and in the way we understand micro ecosystems have meant that probiotic cleaners are quickly becoming a far better solution both in terms of efficacy and environmental impact. Contact us for more information or to book-in a waste management test for your boat.

Generator Annual Service

Generators are one of the most important pieces of machinery in a vessel’s power puzzle, but, more often than not, they are left untouched in the corner of the engine room, only to be checked when there is a problem. We offer a regular yearly service and repair service for peace-of-mind.
